I helped with the civil unions effort. I would love to help build the film industry here and use the relationships I have developed with the legislators to work toward such a positive goal!

Comment by The Wells Brothers on April 18, 2012 at 10:27am CBS/AP) Host and TV producer Dick Clark has died. He was 82.
TMZ first reported the news Wednesday afternoon. A rep told the site that Clark underwent surgery Tuesday night and suffered a "massive" heart attack following the procedure.
Clark started his career as a radio announcer at WRUN in Utica, N.Y., when he was 17.
I have a request for the web site. The top part of each page consists of the "Hawaii Actors Network" banner, the "quick links" section, and the "Discover a Whole New World" banner. These appear on every single page of the site. But they occupy an entire page-worth of space all by themselves. So no matter what page you go to you have to first scroll down to get to see whatever it is you're looking for on the page.
This "top border" area of the pages should be significantly reduced in size so that they are simply a border, and so it allows the actual content of the page to appear without requiring the visitor to scroll, scroll, scroll.

Comment by Karen Agudong on April 12, 2012 at 9:16pm Aloha,
I just wanted to confirm Carol's comments about Susie's workshop based on past experience. My daughter, Sydney, has attended several acting workshops over the last two years in her personal effort and ambition to continue to improve her craft and because of the passion that she has for acting and performing. She took Susie's workshop on Kauai in 2010 and was so inspired and learned so much! She is really looking forward to having Susie back. My youngest daughter, Siena, is excited that she is finally old enough to also be able to attend and learn from the experience. I highly recommend Susie's workshop and am grateful on a personal level that my both of my girls will have the opportunity to attend her workshop in May. Thank you, Carol for your all your efforts in bringing Susie here! (Wayne, Thank you for your nice comments :-)
