Hawaii's Only Film Industry Network
ALOHA!
In the spirit of open and honest communication, I want to take a moment to share some important casting information. It's come to my attention that there are some people in the production/acting community that have been telling folks that "they can get them on Hawaii 5-0" or "introduce you to the cast" etc. I want to be VERY clear that there are 5 people that work in my office. DeAnna, Johanna, Jacqueline, Myself and my assistant Aly. These are the ONLY people that hire extras for this show. If you are ever told otherwise PLEASE advise that person that they should not MIS-REPRESNT themselves. Furthermore, all Hawaii Five-0 publicity requests go through one person, our show publicist, Erika Kauffman who works daily in coordination with CBS and each actor's management team. She is the only one who arranges cast interviews/meetings etc. Anyone else that says "they" can facilitate these things is again MIS-REPRESENTING themselves. My office takes our job very seriously and we have very specific ways in which we go about finding and booking extras. When outsiders go about "referring" people or posting casting information it actually can make our job harder. The post i personally asked Teddy to put on the HAWAII 5-0 GROUP board is the only "approved" information thats out there. My office has official Hawaii Five-0 business cards, if you are ever given a card and it doesn't have our name and H50 logo on it, please understand that they are not authorized to speak on behalf of our show. Lastly i just want to say to the over 6000 extras we've cast so far this season...YOU ROCK!! Each and everyone of you is special to us, and we count on you to tell our shows story every week...and to the 120 actors i've cast in speaking parts this season....I'M SOOO PROUD OF EACH OF YOU... you allow me to have my dream job and i'm eternally grateful.
Thanks for your time and understanding!
