Aloha, this coming Thursday is Laughtrack Theater Company's open mic night. We have featured acts Rachel Secretario, Grant Uchida, Michaeal C. Hall & James Mane. We have LIMITED slots available for open mic. To get one of those open slots, it is highly recommended that you arrive at the theater by 7:30. Sign up sheet is closed at 8PM. I'll make the line up during the pre-show meeting and as performers are signing up.

The amount of stage time will depend largely on the number of performers who sign up, with priority given to performers who are bringing people to watch them.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me or call me.

Aloha Kimee,
I'm interested in participating in the Comedy project. My profile is
at brianlavelle3@exploretalent.com. I have extensive theatre experience from my university years and I've frequently gotten comments about my sense of humor. As you can see from my resume
I've done a number of comedic roles. Please advise future projects/workshops and your classes. I'm ready to jump in with both feet. Looking forward to your response.
Aloha & Mahalo, Brian Lavelle 723-9707

Oh, hi folks. I hope I'm not grand-standing by announcing on this forum that I was lucky enough to be cast as the reporter of Le Figaro, & Charlie who becomes the Inspectot Gaston Monnet of the Paris Police, in " Is He Dead ? ", by Mark Twain. This HPU production is hilarious, & I wanted to share my joy for this play to all those with a passion for comedy. It's about a French painter, who fakes his death such that the value of his paintings can rise, so he can pay of his debtor. This was my way of sharpening my acting skills, without incurring large acting class fees, even though I won't be paid for these roles. I also thought people might be interested in seeing this play. This acting scene can get too competitive & stressful in the present economic climate; one needs more alacrity & the ability to appreciate the lighter side of life for the acting gift & creativity to flourish. My two bits, anyway.

Hi folks. Good news, I got picked for "Standing in Water" on Thursday ( a voluntary short Indie film being shot on the North Shore ), & I'll be an extra on "Hawaii Five O" on Friday. Still crossing my fingers for "Off The Map" (hablo Español) & "Battleship". Where do you apply for Steven Spielberg's "Journey
to the Mysterious Island" (to be filmed in Queensland) & "The
Rise of the Apes" (to be filmed near Vancouver) ?
