Hello HI Film Crew!

 

I'm a recent graduate looking for work. I have experience as a Set PA but am able to fill other PA positions. I'm based out of Wilmington, NC but am able to provide my own accommodations and am willing to travel.

 

I'm very organized, a good listener, hardworking, persistent, and work well under pressure. I am familiar with Microsoft Office, and can communicate professionally through email, phone, or walkie.

Looking for grip work and getting into Local 665 soon.
Worked on Local 80 (Los Angeles grip local) sets but was 6 days short of my required 30 days.
Mainly worked on commercial and music videos as a PA, Grip and Grip PA.
Willing to travel to the Islands for work at a moments notice to get my 30 days after December 1st.
Planning to move there within 6 months.

I was just wondering if there's a way to just work behind the scenes. I want to know how it works and the different job opportunities there are. Does anyone know if someone (me) could intern or somehow be able to work behind the scenes of these for the up coming movies or shows filming here in Hawaii? I was thinking of volunteering at either Manoa Valley Theatre or Diamond Head Theatre just to get a head start. Any suggestions?
