Great Idea...The only thing that would stop anyone from taking the class would be that when and if a person gets hired to work on p5/6.. it would depend on whether they belong to the stunt performers union/SAG . I am in p4 and I tried to work out with the stunt swordsmen. I was told over and over that...most if not all of the stunt people come from LA., people they know. I am a fencer and I teach fencing, twenty years, and I have choreographed sword fighting scenes for many plays.. Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Robin Hood, Macbeth, just to name a few. These credentials did not help me to  practice or even watch them practice from a distance. The skill that you would be teaching is always good to know. But be aware that as far as I know, from the mouths of the stunt people from Hollywood..."If your not from LA and part of the union..a person really has no chance". Being a SAG or AFTRA member helps. Be assured that  acting classes and performing in front of an audience such as in a play or having a speaking part in any of the shows here on the islands, is what Pirates of the Caribben were looking for the last four times.

Eric if HSC is around just email them & see
Kind like I'm not sure there is even HSA
I think Colin has his own group now
Haven't spoken to him in oh say a year or 2
Hey I'm all for it
You can get sonething going that would be nice
HSC did alot of stunts on LOST
I did do some on first season when Colin Fong was SC
Wasn't much cause they changed SC & that's when HSC started
They had so many SC changes through the show
Five 0 seems from what I last heard is going to stay with Jeff as SC
I'm hoping John N. can get SC would be nice to see more possible chances to do some work on it
So hey keep me informed of your project
Be nice to afford to commute to L.A. in back or even Big D even
Nice to see something possible in the air

I neither received any feedback from Hawaiian Stunt Connection. I'm not sure if they still exist or not. I know that they were the main source for stunts, doubles, and rigging for "Lost". Even though it is a small group, they may be working in LA due to the slow times here and commute when production calls for it.

I still want to create a stunt crew and training facility, Maybe I can use my non-profit (still in beginning stage) to help further that along.
