Hey all!

I'll be holding a one day "Intro to Improv" workshop, this Saturday November 6th. Perfect for anyone just stepping into the world of performing.

To me, improv is one of the yummiest things EVER! It’s helped me so much with performance, writing, auditions and has gotten me out of my "shell". Get a little taste of this delicious dessert! Absolutely no experience required. Zero Fear…ALL FUN! Each class will allow you to play in a safe, positive and supportive environment. You’ll loosen up an...d discover that super funny person that’s living inside your heart. Yes, that’s where funny lives. These classes are the perfect little sampling of the improv world.

This workshop will be 2 hours long, cost is just $15 for members of HawaiiActors.com! ($20 for others)

If you are interested or know anyone who's interested check out:

www.kimeeb.com/class

..for more deets!

Include the word "hawaii actors" in the note section and you will receive your $5 at the end of class.

Hope you are all well and I hope to play with you all soon!!

Aloha,
Kimee

Parts One, Two and Three of "Background Acting in Hawaii" are now available on Kindle at Amazon.com for a couple of dollars. Free downloads to read Kindle titles on smartphones and computers are available on the internet. Part One is a very brief outline of how to navigate a typical day on set, with vital information on documents for pay vouchers; Part Two is a 10-page description of Part One's 13 items. Part Three addresses the gig-seeker and delves into casting, auditioning, pay, acting know-how, and lots of info and advice for the newbie. All written by an experienced Hawaii Extra who is a professional writer!
"A valuable, well-written resource. If you're starting screen acting in Hawaii, you must read this." --Jean Simon, longtime actress and Hawaii SAG organizer.
Contact me if I can assist you in any way.

Part Two of "Background Acting in Hawaii" -- a how-to guide -- is almost up on Amazon.com as an eBook -- $2.99. Part Two is a detailed discussion of the 13 points in Part One: how to prepare for, go on, and wind down from a gig on screen. It's aimed at a last-minute, first-time hire. Part Three is in the works and discusses the details of a career in acting such as unions. Always interested in feedback!!
