Saturday, February 26 at 5 pm

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Applause! Performance AcademyThe show will be performed by a small cast of men, women, AND children, ages 5 thru adult! All ethnicities are encouraged to
attend!!! All roles in this production are available. All actors should be prepared to sing, move, and act! Casting will be done
solely by the Directors and casting assistants, and will be determined on talent AND availability.
Please arrive with 16-24 bars of a prepared (memorized) song that best shows off your voice, in the style of the show. We are
looking for Disney, or Disney pop style of music. ALL AUDITIONERS SHOULD BE FAMILIAR WITH “IT’S ON,” from Camp Rock 2.
Bring audition sheet music in your own key – there will be NO transpositions. An accompanist will be provided. For this
audition, karaoke cds WILL be allowed. No a cappella, please. Some people will be asked to stay for a dance audition, so
please be sure to bring the proper attire. If possible, please bring a current picture and performance resume. Also, please
bring a list of ANY AND ALL conflicts for the entire duration of the rehearsal process. We are willing to be flexible about
conflicts if we are given them at auditions.
Rehearsals will be held Fridays, Saturdays, and/or Sundays. Other nights may be utilized as we get closer to the
performances, and/or as needed for individual extra work, but is not probable until tech week.
PRINCIPAL ROLES:
Mitchie Torres- Female role, 14-25, to play a high school aged girl. She is smart, talented, and passionate, and
fights for what she believes in. Must act, move well, and be able to sing in a big belty sound, as well
as hold harmony.
Shane Gray- Male role, 16-30, to play the charismatic lead singer of Connect 3. Shane is Mitchie’s boyfriend

A lot of famous stars started with improv comedy in groups like Second City, so this is a skill that can help your career. I am not connected with the class, just passing it along.
