A one-hour pilot for a drama about the fugitive crew of a nuclear submarine will be shot in Hawaii for ABC, the network announced Friday.“Last Resort,” written by Karl Gajdusek and Shawn Ryan, will be produced by Sony Studios, which confirmed the location. Level 6 Creative said… Aloha! My name is Jess Bryden. For the past decade I have worked in Los Angeles as an editor, director and visual effects supervisor on countless films and television productions. I moved to Oahu last year to pursue writing and directing a feature film called “Spirit of Fire”. The movie is a tragic Romeo and Juliet style romance set in South America during a civil war. I am shooting a low-budget trailer and several complete scenes to help facilitate the sale of the film, after which time I will be returning here to film the complete feature.

Monagas is cold and calculating in his tactics, but a charmer around his troops. In the war he has become a symbol of the people, standing up against the tyrannical dictatorship of Cervantes, the president. Monagas is a warrior at heart and grew up in the jungles. He views the city and the war as just another jungle to conquer.
