Sophia Gilberto is a serious young lady with an acting mission. Sophia started out in dance, community theatre and playing piano since she was five years old.
Sophie's first introduction to film was in ”Santa Claus in Baghdad” RA Visions Productions" as an extra and was hooked. She then participated as an extra in ”Soul Sister” OracleVoice Films" .
She started taking acting classes and fell in love with a passion that would continue to drive her to the camera. She loves filming and being filmed.
Sophie auditioned at the Tazza Cafe in RI to be in her 1st 48hr film. She appeared in "Pear Me Up, Buttercup" a "Goldilocks Production".
By chance, Sophie went to an audition were they were looking for a twenty year old for "SuperHero Of The Year" they filmed her with the chance that they wouldn't use it but they did!
Sophie's first lead was in The "Sampler Girl" Of The Lakes Productions, at the same time she was cast as Melissa, the lead in "When The North Winds Blow" Liquid Chariot Productions.
While doing both projects she was cast as a Principle role in "Oldbury Hill Webisodes" as "Julie".

Oh, you still haven't moved to Hawaii yet? It's not bad, still have to go to Lala land to get big things, but there's usually a few big productions every year here. There's also commercial, student film, and indi-projects available. You can't beat living here. Have you ever been Oahu before?
