Casting For Speaking Roles - SAG ultra low budget short film - Middle school aged kids

Hello,

I am casting middle school aged kids (11-13ish) for a SAG ultra low budget short film.

YOUNG CLERANCE:          11-13 A scrawny, bookish, skinny, awkward teen, his mind has developed before his body.  He is not a fighter, and gets picked on by cooler, bigger teenagers.  17 lines

YOUNG LEIMOMI:             11-13 A big teenage girl, She is confident beyond measure with big dreams that no one can ever squash.  This girl knows where she is going.  She is a protector and warrior woman in training.  18 Lines

TEENAGE BULLIES (#3):    12-14 not as mean spirited as they are inconsiderate.  They use young Clarence like a rag doll – demonstrating wrestling moves on him.  They fear young Leimomi.  15 Lines

Please message me directly if interested.

Thanks,

Mericia

Must they be SAG to do this film?

Hi Mericia, I would love to have my son audition for the role of one of the teenage Bullies. He's a great kid, and would be happy to read for you. Where do I submit his information?

Hi Mercia,

I'd like to audition. I am a SAG member and I'd be happy to forward my resume to you. Am I 15, but could easily pass as a middle school kid.

One more thing... For the teenage bullies, are these male or female roles? And is there a preferred ethnicity?

Hello Mericia,

I am emailing for my daughter who is 14 years old.  I'm not sure if you would be able to use her for either Young Leimomi or tennage bullies.  She has only done a short film for Aaron Bush for a UH film project in which she was the lead role, a small low budget film as an extra, an extra on Lost, and a modeling role for Aloha Tower's first fashion Friday.  She is interested in young Leimomi, she is 14 years old and about 5'0 and 100 lbs.

Please let me know if you are able to use her and if you want me to send you her resume/picture.

Thank you,

Shari Koseki (mother)
