In Search of Makua Charley
Al & Jayne Cloutier, directors of the new horror film "Makua Charley" go location scouting at Makua Cave. Makua Cave is located at Kaena Point in Makaha on the island of O'ahu. Legend has it that this was the lair of the shark man, Makua Charley. Also known as Nanue, the shark man was the son of a beautiful Hawaiian maiden and the king of the sharks. Al & Jayne's new film, currently in pre-production, is partially based on this legend.
